Our Community

The Grove is a place to find your tribe and be part of creating a diverse and inclusive community where we explore together:

  • letting go of outmoded ways of working and embracing the new,

  • being in transition and enacting change in the world,

  • taking the courageous path of stepping into the unknown.

We invite you to co-create places of practice for the meaningful work you want to do in the world.

You are welcome to attend a Grove event or learn more about being a member. When you are ready to sign up please fill in and pay via the online membership form.

The Grove is a safe community for people to share their ideas and form collaborations

Member Collaborative Projects

Grove members are collaborating with others to bring projects alive in the world.

Earth Chair

A chair in every board or team dedicated to speaking for Earth.

Conceived by founding member, David Pointon, The Grove was invited to prototype EarthChair, a practice to invite the voice and presence of Earth into our meetings and circles. The feedback from sharing this original and powerful possibility at The Grove retreats has been overwhelming. May this simple yet profound practise continue to enrich our thinking, widen our view and support us to be good custodians.

Our Inspiration

Ruth’s Foundation

Founding member Ruth McCance passed away in an avalanche whilst climbing Nanda Devi in the Himalayas. Many friends made a donation at her funeral to continue her work in the Grove. The Grove has established a foundation to steward these donations. Her partner Trent found the following note at home.

Note to self:

"The journey of healing will last my whole life True compassion is to love all of myself just as I am now - that's all I need to do" Ruth McCance
